Jury Trial DWI: Not Guilty
Driving While Intoxicated plus several V&T charges. After a contested jury trial the jury returned a full not-guilty verdict and the remaining charges were dropped.
DWI Refusal: Reduced At Trial
Client charged with DWI after refusing a chemical test. We took it to trial and the jury came back on the lesser DWAI, keeping the conviction off the criminal record.
Interlock Violation: Dismissed
Charge of operating a vehicle without the court-ordered ignition interlock. We moved to dismiss on procedural grounds and the court granted the motion.
No Insurance: Negotiated Plea
Reduced the operating-without-insurance charge before sentencing, avoiding the automatic one-year revocation and the DMV civil penalty that comes with it.
AUO 2nd: Jail Avoided
Driving on a suspended license, 2nd degree, with a mandatory 7-day jail floor. Our motion practice resulted in the charge being dismissed before any sentence was imposed.
Aggravated DWI: Knocked Down
Top-count Aggravated DWI reduced to a non-criminal DWAI violation: no jail, no probation and no permanent criminal record.
